CRREM Denmark

In 2023, SustEvo, commissioned by CBRE, conducted a CRREM analysis of three properties in Denmark – one residential property and two office buildings. The project, located in Aarhus, aimed to assess the properties’ climate risk and energy performance according to the Carbon Risk Real Estate Monitor (CRREM) framework.

The analysis resulted in an action plan to ensure that the properties do not become "stranded assets" - buildings that lose value due to a lack of adaptation to future environmental requirements and energy standards. By identifying necessary measures to reduce the carbon footprint and improve energy efficiency, the project contributes to a more sustainable and financially robust property portfolio.
