Good Energy Management is important for a continuous improvement process for your building.
Good energy management in a construction project is a critical factor in achieving energy-efficient and sustainable buildings. This involves systematic planning, implementation and follow-up of energy-related measures throughout the project's phases - from early design to completion. By integrating energy management into decision-making processes and technical solutions, one can optimize energy use in both construction methods and material selection, as well as ensure that technical installations are dimensioned and managed correctly. The use of energy budgets, energy frameworks and dynamic simulation tools provides decision support and documentation that the building meets requirements according to TEK and relevant certification schemes such as BREEAM or FutureBuilt.
After the building is handed over, it is crucial that energy management is continued in the operational phase to ensure that the energy targets are actually achieved in practice. This requires that the building's energy performance is monitored through continuous measurement, analysis and adjustment of operations – for example, through the use of SD systems, energy monitoring systems (EOS) and regular energy audits.
